MAC 1 marks the beginning of our collaboration with Luca Galoppo, a professor of Mathematics and Physics and a very enthusiastic collector of American comics. Among his projects, there was also that Italian super-hero who seduced me because I had the opportunity to test myself with a genre I liked very much. That story was my first realistic comic drawn in the last ten years and the really first one for Emanuela. Despite some drawing and postural imperfections, we are still proud of this work. A curious note: in order to create characters, I have been inspired by some photographs of me and Emanuela, so MAC 1 and his girlfriend have, more or less, our facial features (yes, at that time I had much more hair than now… Boo-hoo!).
