LUCIO LEONI

Born in Como, 1968, Lucio soon came to Monza and started the world of comic-strips in 1991, studying to Milan Scuola del fumetto and working at Paolo Telloli’s graphic-art studio in Monza. For Vallardi Editions drew some Tiramolla for kids, then came to Disney and made some TOPOLINO (aka Mickey mouse), PAPERFANTASY, DISNEY MAGAZINE, PAPERINO (Donald Duck) e PAPERINIK, writing scripts too since 1998. Lucio collaborated on PREZZEMOLO and TOPO GIGIO (FPM edit) for kids audience and on Bartoli & Domestici’s ARTHUR KING. In the middle of the 90’s he was a founding member of INK magazine (Penguin’s Editions) with some own characters  and works on Edizioni Comica’s “L’isola che non c’è” and other minor valued strips.In 2000 Lucio joined the Italian staff  of German “Mosaik”  drawing some books in ABRAFAXE and the French-Belgian "SETZ DIE SEGEL,

 

 

ROBIN". About 2000 too he came back to the realistic style that he left years before, working with Sergio Bonelli Editore, drawing on pencil MARTIN MYSTERE # 261 and 262, then JULIA # 60 and part of 81.Lucio has recently worked with Edizioni Buena Vista, making covers and stories on KYLION, many episodes on POWER RANGERS; PIRATES OF CARRIBEAN, WITHC and HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL too. In 2010 he started to work for the French market, for Soleil Editions, drawing  ZOMBIES #0. In 2011 he started to work on TEMPLIER and the growing-up of LES BRUMES D'ASCELTIS.

He then collaborated on the ALICE MATHESON, ORACLE, MEDICIS, LES MAITRES INQUISITEURS and WEST LEGENDS series. In 2012, for the Belgian editions Le Lombard, he inaugurated the series L'INSTIT LATOUCHE, a spin-off of the well-known L'ELEVE DUCOBU. In 2021, he produced the humor series QUARTIER FOVELA with screenwriter Stépane Louis for Bamboo editions.                                                          

EMANUELA NEGRIN

Emanuela Negrin was born in Monza, 1971 and came to the Comics world since she met Lucio. Self-made, she start working with Leoni as an inker in 1992, collaborating by then in plots, scripts and creating characters. Co-founder on INK, Penguin’s Editions, she worked on Paperino, Paperinik and Paperfantasy for Disney Italia, TOPO GIGIO and PREZZEMOLO, FPM Editions, ARTHUR KING (Cierre editions) L’ISOLA CHE NON C’È (Ed. Comica), ABRAFAXE and “SETZ DIE SEGEL ROBIN” for Mosaik. In 2011 she came out on French market too working on Soleil’s TEMPLIER. She then collaborated on the BRUMES D'ASCELTIS, ALICE MATHESON, ORACLE, MEDICIS, LES MAITRES INQUISITEURS and WEST LEGENDS series.

In 2012 began to ink for the Belgian Le Lombard’s L'INSTIT LATOUCHE, a spin-off from the famous L’ELEVE DUCOBU. In 2021 she coauthored with Lucio Leoni the humor series QUARTIER FOVELA with screenwriter Stépane Louis for Bamboo Editions.
