The idea came from my first mentor Paolo Telloli who had been thinking of creating a “Prozine” (that is a fanzine by professionals) for some time. INK proposed articles, interviews, essays and, obviously, comics. The only obstacle was money that, depending on our personal financial resources, was quite limited. Nevertheless, that period was really funny! Team meetings were lively and cheerful, though the attendance of sector exhibitions were the best part: drawing in presence of people is always an exciting experience! Through thick and thin, this collaboration lasted for eight issues, after that… the magic faded away. The group started having rows about the right artistic direction and so they broke up. INK has gone on without us and anyway we wish them all the best.
