L’isola che non c’è was the result of another project that would have deserved more success, but the market can be so cruel sometimes… It came from the idea of two authors, Maggi and Michelon: they both would have paid for the production expenses, whereas we other authors would have created the material to be printed free of charge. In case the sales had been good, we would have shared profits but after covering the costs. Unfortunately, after a handful of issues, we had to give up. Emanuela and I actively contributed producing a comic strip, entitled Suppergiù, on the basis of Sergio Tulipano’s texts. The story was about the actions of a heterogenous group pf characters: an old resentful pensioner, a middle class family, and a group of three teenager losers
