Canardo is a Belgian comic, created many years ago by Benoît Sokal and published by Casterman. It seems that in 2008 he had decided to abandon his creature, and so the publishers immediately took action in order to find another replacement. When I contacted a literary agency, they informed me about the situation and proposed me to make a trial. The result was appreciated by the publisher but not by the author.
